About Me

“The best laid plans…”

I went to school and studied civil engineering to learn how to design buildings. When I got done, instead of building buildings, I felt like building companies would be more fun.

I joined the Orr Fellowship, a two year fellowship that places graduates at fast-growing startups to learn directly from management about how to build companies. I ended up at an investment bank helping management of these companies finance, acquire, divest and operate them instead.

So after a few years, I finally figured out that the best way to learn how to start and build a company was to go and do exactly that, start my own. So, that’s what I did.

My advice to you – don’t plan. Just go do.

Check LinkedIn to see what I’ve done.
Check Twitter to see what I’m doing now.
Check Facebook to see who I’m doing it with.
And to see what I’m still planning to do, well, I guess you can check out this blog.
If you haven’t seen what you’re looking for, shoot me an email and I’ll find it for you. Thanks for dropping by.
